Senior Engineer – Asset Integrity / Inspection

ADNOC Sour Gas, UAE

Currently leading asset integrity and inspection programs for major plant facilities to ensure safe and reliable operations. Responsible for implementing Risk-Based Inspection (RBI), corrosion monitoring, and integrity management strategies for pressure vessels, piping, pipelines, and storage tanks. Works closely with multidisciplinary teams to optimize shutdown inspection scopes, improve equipment reliability, and ensure compliance with international standards such as API, ASME, and NACE.

Oct 2017 – June 2025

Lead Engineer – Asset Integrity, Technical Services

OQ RPI (Sohar Refinery), Oman

Served as Inspection Team Leader for the Sohar Refinery Improvement Project, overseeing integrity assurance for one of the region’s major refining assets. Led asset integrity programs across critical refinery units including Hydrocracker, CDU, VDU, DCU, SRU, utilities, and storage tanks. Directed turnaround inspection planning and execution while implementing Risk-Based Inspection strategies to improve asset reliability and reduce maintenance costs. Played a key role in developing corrosion loops, damage mechanism reviews, and Integrity Operating Windows (IOWs).

Senior Engineer – Inspection & Corrosion

MIDOR – Middle East Oil Refinery (via EPROM), Egypt

Provided inspection and corrosion engineering support for refinery operations, ensuring mechanical integrity of static equipment and piping systems. Conducted equipment inspections, condition assessments, and fitness-for-service evaluations for pressure vessels, piping, and storage tanks. Supported plant shutdowns and maintenance activities while monitoring corrosion performance and damage mechanisms across refinery units to maintain safe and reliable plant operations.
